About Us
We are a Family of Individuals, Called By God to spread the light in the world
HPC & Home of Hope Worldwide, Inc., located at 36 Harrison Place in Irvington, New Jersey, is a vibrant, Creole-based Christian ministry deeply rooted in serving the Haitian and surrounding communities. Formerly known simply as the Haitian Pentecostal Church, our congregation has grown to reach not just the local community, but also into Haiti and beyond, carrying the light of Christ wherever there is need.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1991, our ministry extends far beyond traditional worship. We offer compassionate pastoral care and feed both spiritual and physical hunger. We run feeding programs, support community development initiatives, provide clothing and school supplies, and offer emergency assistance. We are committed to uplifting those in need through tangible acts of grace.
Under the leadership of Pastor Guerschom “Gersh” Francois, our congregation thrives as a family where everyone is valued and encouraged. We host vibrant worship services, Bible studies, youth programs, retreats, and community events; all designed to foster spiritual growth and unity in Christ.
At HPC and Home of Hope Worldwide, our vision is clear: to extend God’s love through meaningful service, faithful teaching, and unwavering support of those who bear burdens. Whether it’s through our doors or across borders, our mission remains the same; bringing hope, restoration, and faith-filled community to all.
